Plot Synopsis

On a sun-soaked Caribbean coast, Lorna León lives like royalty in self-imposed exile. She kitesurfs by day, and slings cocaine and cocktails at her beach bar, Sno-Cones, by night.

She’s an heir to a powerful matriarchal drug dynasty founded by her grandfather and held together by the ruthless ambition of his daughter, Rosario, and his daughter-in-law, Carol. With Lorna’s father long disappeared and presumed dead, the legacy must pass to either Lorna or her cousin, Mia. Rosario, hungry for control, grooms Mia as a pliable figurehead — a pretty puppet to preserve the family’s grip on power while she pulls the strings. Carol, a rogue scientist turned psychedelic biotech rebel, warns that if Lorna doesn’t accept the mantle, the empire will fall into the wrong hands. Lorna laughs it off — until the Coraza-León, a mythic heirloom of the family, chooses her in secret.

Summoned to a coronation she never asked for — a viral, drug-fueled spectacle bankrolled by crypto messiah Mad Millions — Lorna arrives wearing the Coraza-León, unready and unsure. The ceremony erupts into chaos: Rosario shoots her, the mantle unleashes a supernatural swarm, and Mad captures every second. By the time the smoke clears, Rosario is dead, Mia is humiliated, and Lorna is branded online as a cartel queen and international fugitive. Fleeing into the jungle with Carol, Lorna finds refuge in a hidden mountaintop sanctuary — part cocaine farm, part biotech hive — where Carol is developing a non-addictive, neuro-healing drug designed to dismantle the drug war from within. For a moment, a better future seems possible. But betrayal comes fast and hard: Mad’s mercenaries torch the lab, and Carol is killed in the escape.

Now alone, hunted, and presumed dead, Lorna walks into the ocean in search of the one ghost who might still have answers: her father. The world believes she’s gone. But she’s just getting started.
